This is our new USMC home. Lots of french but I really hope international section will grow up.
I was chatting with one of our french members and international section would bring new ideas.
I'm reeady to expand this part of the forum if there is enough positive feedback. In the end, what's so french about the USMC except the fourragère !

Sarge: Yep. Scout Sniper Platoon. There's not enough of us to form anything more than a fire team. And because we already have two infantry squads in association, we wouldn't mean a difference in combat. We have a full two infantry squads, two Recon fire teams, so we formed two STA teams of Scout Sniper Platoon to support our Recon brothers

We're putting our gear together by now.

btw. I got new OTV. Unicor version with full PALS on the back and groin protector. All with softarmor inserts. Cost me 155 USD with shipping

If you find some mismatches or non-fitments on these pics, we will be glad to listen to your criticism. As we are only "1-year old reenactors" any case comment will be helpful for us.

No critism allowed ! I see a few things not good, here and there but you probably know what's wrong, already.
I love it.

For the infantry : it should be 4 members for a fire team.
Each fire team has
- 1 M-16A4 (or M4) with M203 grenade launcher (fire team leader)
- 1 M-249 SAW (squad automatic weapon)
- 1 M-16A4 (or M4) (SAW assitant)
- 1 M-16A4 (rifleman)

3 fire teams + 1 SGT = 1 SQUAD

Yeah, we know we should do something with the "guns". At least one more M203.
One of our guys is waiting for his M240 shipping from Japan. And, yeah, we know that M240 is not "suitable" for the quantity of our squad members, but I think M240 would stimulate us to get more "marines" to our group

P.S. Right now we are searching for the Afro-Ukrainian or Latin-Ukrainian male to join our squad

My objections - Marines are using TA31 ACOG models, not the older TA01 you have:

No, most of us have BULLE IBA (replica), some are with the original SAPI plates (f..n' heavy ), one SDS IBA (original), and one MTV (replica) Frankly speaking we have not seen this MTV yet ourselves, 'cause the happy guy with MTV have just received it from the web-shop.
